Frances is a law student. She is interested in taking up family law. When she was already enrolled in the course, she was looking forward to doing research about the different laws that govern the court. "It was a dream come true for me," she shared to me once. I can really see that was interested and at the same time very excited of what she was getting into. One time, they talked about parental rights order in class. At first, this was very new to her. Although not much was said in class, she had to go to the library to do some extra reading. She was able to find a lot of books about the topic that they discussed in class. On her table, she stacked the books and started to browse through them one by one. While staying in the library, she decided to take notes about the topic. The next day, their professor informed them that they will be going to a family court to witness a real family court hearing. They also tasked to relate the topic to the court hearing as much as possible. Frances was really excited about going inside the family court for the first time.
