Disappointments come from all angles and at times one has to embrace all the difficulties that come their way because they have no choice. I am always helpless when it comes to matters of electricity. I do not know how to make such problems go away and many times I find myself having to hire an electrician so that he or she can make the problems go away. There are some electricians who have the habit of charging people a lot of money because they know that these people are clueless when it comes to electricity matters. This is not a good assumption because there are people who are not as dumb as they look. When an electrician states in their website that they are going to charge a specific amount for a certain service then they should do just that. Even if someone is a 24 hr electrician that does not give that person the right to make changes that affect the other people. Having just moved into our new house, there are lots of things that I would love to do. Having bought a cheap gazebo for my garden, and generally tidied up the greenery around our house (I just had about twelve trees removed from the yard so that we could plant some grass for the kids to run around in), I now turn my attention to the house.
First and foremost are the bathrooms. The house has two bathrooms and they are awful. The one on the main floor (which we call the closet) is so small that I cannot use it and close the door at the same time. It is right off the kitchen/living room, which makes it impossible to use when we have guests. The bathroom upstairs is so oddly shaped, that my wife and I can’t get ready in the morning together. Needless to say, it needs to be redone as well. What we would love to do, is re-do the attic and build a nice staircase up, and then build a master bedroom with gorgeous on-suite up there. That would leave the hideous bathrooms to the kids. Seems perfect to me. |

Toilet overflow is usually caused by clogged toilets. Clogged toilets are usually caused by foreign objects like used toilet paper. Unclogging toilets is done using a toilet plunger. A toilet plunger has a circular bulge on the bottom of the main plunger bulb area, and while this helps unclog a toilet, a regular plunger can be used as well. You might also need rubber gloves and a clothes hanger. Here are some tips in doing so.
Put on rubber gloves, and then remove any foreign debris that is inside the toilet. Use a straightened wire coat hanger to fish out the debris like toilet paper that may be causing the clog. Insert the toilet plunger, moving debris out of the way to get the plunger all the way to the bottom of the toilet bowl.
Insert the toilet plunger on the neck opening of the toilet at the bottom of the toilet bowl and push gently to create a seal. Push straight down on the plunger, then pull it straight back again without breaking the seal between the plunger and the toilet neck. Repeat the plunging action for at least five full strokes, pull hard enough on the plunger in the last outward stroke to break it from its sealed position. But, if this does not work it is still advised to consult a plumber. There might a bigger problem involved. |
